roasted brussel sprouts + date syrup

ingredients

  • 2lbs brussel sprouts, cut in half lengthwise

  • 7 whole cloves of garlic

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons date syrup

  1. Preheat oven to 425 convection roast. In a large bowl toss the brussel sprouts, garlic cloves, olive oil, vinegar, and salt. Put on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper cut side down and into the oven for approximately 20 minutes, rotating the pan once ate the ten minute mark to make sure they all roast evenly. Take out of the oven when crispy and roasted and drizzle the syrup over all the brussels while still hot and toss.
